This project involved creating a new lounge space in a high-rise building in Umeda, Osaka. Interoffice was responsible for interior design, construction work, built-in furniture, and the delivery of loose furniture. The goal was to design a space where clients can be welcomed in a calm, quiet atmosphere away from the noise of the city.
The lounge is unified in deep brown tones to create a sense of calm and sophistication. Soft curves are incorporated throughout the space, guiding the eye and movement naturally and helping visitors relax.
The furniture layout focuses on facilitating conversation. Comfortable face-to-face seating ensures an appropriate sense of distance while encouraging natural dialogue and interaction. The entrance—serving as the “face” of the lounge—was designed with a refined expression to offer visitors a sense of trust and reassurance.
Although located in the heart of the city, the lounge provides a quiet, peaceful environment inside. It functions as a comfortable and enriching place where visitors can spend time, talk, and engage in meaningful experiences.
